The MagIon Process

MagIon is a thin film coating applied through high energy ion acceleration and vapor deposition. Typically, ions of noble metals such as gold or silver are properly combined with ions of other materials such as chromium, palladium, nickel, titanium or bronze to produce an "engineered surface" that is actually imbedded into the coated item, as a result of high velocity ion impacts. Virtually any material can be coated since it's temperature remains below 125 degrees F during the process. Consequently, materials will not experience changes in either mechanical, bulk or dimensional properties.
